D38999 series III Filtered Plug Connector with Crimp Termination

AEF Solutions have developed a D38999 series III Filtered Plug Connector with Crimp contact termination. Peter Scott, AEF’s Engineering Manager says “It’s quite unusual for a customer to require a plug connector to be filtered as it is normally the Receptacle on the Panel/Box which would be. However, in circumstances where the Unit cannot be retrofitted, such as where the guarantee would be compromised, the filtered plug is an ideal solution and negates the need for a more costly filtered adaptor to be placed in line. The crimp termination enables reparability of the cable assembly. This solution can be applied to practically all circular connector types that have crimp removable contacts”.
