AEF's EMI/RFI filter connector assembly offers several advantages over standard filter pins resulting in greater immunity to environmental stress - such as shock and vibration - as well as the high density of the filter module. The AEF assembly is based on the integration of surface-mount devices (SMDs) technology, EMI filtering (capacitors, ferrite beads) with every connector pin into the filter module. This achieves high performance filter modules and gives the user greater flexibility in the application of protection strategies - in addition to the added benefit of compatibility with existing connector arrangements.
Not only does the AEF solution offer far greater reliability and vastly improved performance, it also enables the application of multi-stage filters, with EMI and EMP stages, ESD protection devices as well as common and differential mode filtering. |
