Mil-C-38999, series 1.5 in six different configurations, is being used on the current production of the EF2000 Typhoon military Fighter aircraft cockpit-warning panel. These connectors range from 10-02 layout through to 25-35.
All the connectors contain mixed contact filtering with different value Pi filters, ranging from 47pF for video and high frequency, to 100nF on slower signal lines. All this technology was achieved within the standard 38999 shell, allowing the customer to minimise the real estate requirement and weight considerations. AEF Solutions are also engaged in the assembly of these and other specified connectors to their respective flex-assemblies.
